Food Manufacturers

If you’re responsible for what goes on a food label in Australia or New Zealand, you know how critical and complex label compliance is across your product range. Foodworks Nutrition Labelling is purpose-built for creating FSANZ compliant labels, at scale.

Why international labelling tools fall short

Most food labelling software on the market was built for the US or the EU. To make it work for Australian or New Zealand regulation, you configure it, or build workarounds around it. Even then, gaps remain: allergen formatting that doesn’t match PEAL requirements, Health Star Rating calculations that need manual overrides, Country of Origin claims that can’t generate the correct standard mark.

Every workaround or manual override is a compliance risk, especially if you’re managing a large product range with frequently changing recipe formulations.
See what Foodworks generates from your recipes

From formulation to compliant label

    Enter your raw materials

Start from your supplier specs. Each raw material carries its nutrient data, allergen profile, and country of origin. Enter it once and it flows through every recipe that uses it.

    Build and iterate your recipes

Combine raw materials and sub-recipes into your product formulation. Foodworks calculates the nutrition information panel, ingredient statement, Health Star Rating, allergen declaration, and Country of Origin as you build. Change a quantity, swap an ingredient, add a sub-recipe. The label updates as you go.

    Review your label compliance

Check every element against the requirements before it goes to print. Foodworks flags missing allergen data, incomplete Country of Origin claims, and Health Star Ratings that need more information. Catch the gaps here, not after the label's already printed.

    Export and hand off

Export your labelling data as CSV or print individual labels as PNG files. Ready for your label designers, your packaging team, or your retailer's compliance review.

Built for the role you're in
