We first assess a client's diet either by entering it into FoodWorks as a food frequency, or even better, importing their diary from Easy Diet Diary [to FoodWorks 10]. With a solid overview of the energy balance and nutritional adequacy of their client’s intake, the discussion with the client becomes less ‘emotional’ and more ‘objective’. For clients trying to lose weight, our dietitians can immediately show the foods contributing excessive calories; or for clients with a nutritional deficiency, they can explore targeting foods rich in that nutrient and show the difference that makes.
